They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it....If they had longed for the country they came from, they could have gone back. In 1980, a section of the famous Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Tampa Bay collapsed when a freighter struck a column. This sent several cars and a Greyhound bus into the water below, killing thirty five people.
